Gallbladder Surgery
Gallbladder removal is the most frequently performed laparoscopic surgery in Australia and the world!
Most surgeons remove the gallbladder with four standard laparoscopic ports, each of which contributes to pain and scarring. I typically use 3 ports, two of which may be mini-laparoscopic where available. Many patients are happy to go home the same day.
